Harrogate is home to some fantastic restaurants.  My favourite at the moment is Mykonos which has the most amazing Greek food and mezes, there’s outdoor seating for the summer months too.  For large groups there’s Sukothai for some lovely Thai food. Or why not munch on boards of cheese and cured meats at Veeno Harrogate, it sells delicious wine and they also do wine tasting too.

Afternoon teas

When you head down the main street in Harrogate you’ll notice a long queue of people and they aren’t waiting for the bus!  They are waiting for a table at Bettys Café Tea Rooms for afternoon tea.  Soak up the atmosphere in their beautiful historic rooms and enjoy their fabulous afternoon teas.  You can even hire private rooms at Bettys for celebrations too.  The street Bettys is located is a great place to be, lots of lovely restaurants and bars for Google maps use – Bettys, 1 Parliament Street, Harrogate, HG2 2QU
