We had a groovy morning on Sunday 15th October at The Pink Flashdance event at Yorkshire Dance.  This event was held to raise money for The Haven in Yorkshire which supports people affected by breast cancer and a special event for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  A total of £650 was raised for The Haven which gave us even more to dance about! Networkers at Leeds Business Week were taken out of their comfort zone right from day 1 on Monday 9th October 2017 where they did a Cha Cha Dance Class with Sarah Hough, Director of Sashay Dance.  They really did demonstrate that they were the ‘Movers and Shakers’ of the city! We have just hit our 1st birthday! I can’t actually believe it’s been 1 year, it feels like 5 years with all that’s happened in such a short space of time.  I’d like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who’s supported Sashay Dance. On Saturday 13th May we had a charity dance event for Mental Health Awareness Week in aid of Mind Charity.  The event was a massive success with so much support from the local community.  We raised £467.80 for Mind Charity and raised a lot of mental health awareness!
